Any good music advice?
Hi friends. I'm a guitarist, so i like pretty much music with guitar. I like music like metallica, jimi hendrix, stevie ray vaughan, joe satriani, iron maiden, santana, bob marley, ACDC, yngwie, etc.... Mostly metal and rock. So if u guys would have any advice on good musically advanced groups or whetever that would be pretty cool because i'd like to discover new music or to take the time to hear some. So thx in advance!

Just do alittle digging through these forums and you'll find tons of stuff. Every so often, someone starts a thread about good music when high. Although you aren't looking for music for specifically being high, it will give you ideas.

right now, i'm listening to jack johnson. He's the polar opposite of metallica, but it's good, chill music.

whoah whoah.... he was talking about his list
. Not urs.
I would suggest to you the Grateful Dead. On a first glance they are hippy rednecks playing marijuana bluegrass. But when u understand them you will notice the strange timing they use.
such as Phil Lesh walking around in 3/4 while the timing is 4/4. This is the type of shit that will help u out. Just get ur technique down then move on over to theory. that is were the boys are seperated from the men.
