metal tasting bud

i got this bag the other day and it was some of the better smellinfg stuff i have had in a while purple leaves all the good stuff but it had a tast of metal and when smoking a blunt the filling in my teeth felt like i was chewing on foil if any one has ever had this could they let me know what causes it so i dont have this happin to my crop that i just sent to flower

yeah i was thinking the same but my friend said it was the ggrowers pers stash i wouldnt see a reason for him to lace it in means of putting another drug in it i was looking for more of an answer on the nut side or maybe he did his final flush wrong all i know is in 2 month when i harvest my 7 oz. i would be devistated to have copper tasting weed

another posibility: what he used to grow
i once had some bad ass northern light back in 05 that smelled totally like fish... it was disgusting but it did the job

later i learned the grower had used something in the grow process that is a fish product and is used in gardening, not sure about the name but im sure savvy growers must know what im talkin about.

ya man, it is a nutrient that the grower used, and also it is combined with no flushing at the end of the harvest. i have had some "hydro" buds that smelled and tasted just like fish and i asked the same question a long time ago and i got the answer im giving you. best thing is to keep growin your own, do a very good flush, and you should be good to go!

Fert / Nute taste sucks .

Didn't get flushed well enough . I've had antibiotics that leave the exact same taste in my mouth . Augmentin to be exact .

Do a search on water cure- it removes most of the flavor (good or otherwise) without affecting potency!

if i grow myself, not only i will flush it for a week, i will even give it some lemon extract in the last few hours.... or any other favorite flavor, im pretty sure it will work very well...

thats a pretty good idea do you think it would work just water your plants with like watermelon juics for the last few weeks dose any one know if that will kill thim
