This is what I do...
1. right click the picture and go to Edit.
2. go to Image, and hit stretch/skew
3. in the boxes there, change size to 50 in each, hit enter.
4. when it is smaller, go to File, then save as...name your resized picture and hit enter. This way you have the original in original size and the new resized picture on your computer.

Now the pic is small enough to load on here.

I am assuming you are using similar windows "My Pictures" and not some other program.
