medical marijuana in canada

I have a medical marijuana licence to grow and posses. I live in Ontario, Canada, and my daily amount is 5 grams. I am finding that this is not enough. Does anyone in Ontario, Canada have a licence that lets them have more?

The answer to, "isn't 5 gms./day not enough", is in your own picture. That joint you're holding in your mouth is at least five grams on it's own.

tbh i have actually done the research on this and u can hardly fit more than 2 gr in a jay-or blunt for that matter. it will be so stuffed it will not be pleasant to smoke from. just try it for yourself n weigh it. ok maybe an optimo can fit 5 gs in it but certainly not a regular join or a swisher sweet.

but really, 5gr is alot of weed for 1 day, i mean, i was a heavy smoker and even i wouldnt smoke 5 gr on daily basis, that means an OZ in less than a week. do u know what this means? this means an average of about 1 plant harvest per week!!!

unless we are talking some low quality mexican brick shit...

not tryin to hijack thread or anythin and certainly not tryin to be offensive, but u mind sharing what is your condition that 5 gs / day is not working?

Have you ask'd Health Canada for an increase in your dosage? Talk to your Dr about it yet? ... Goto your Dr the one that sign'd all your papers and tell him you want a dosage increase, tell him why.

Thanks BCGROWN for the best answer I got from this site so far. I have talked to my doctor and he is willing to sign the paperwork for an increase. He just wanted to know what other people are getting with their licences. I just saw someone's licence today, and they have 15 gms/day. I guess it takes a Canadian to understand a Canadian. Our tolerance level is pretty high from having access to the best, whenever we want it. Canada is rated number 1, in the world, for the best bud. The Mexican crap doesn't even try to make it up here.

Hehe....you guys sound like a bunch of girls :P Don't get mad LOL Anyways.....I just wanted to say that I think 5 g IS ALOT....but sometimes it is needed. I am currently in the process of getting my card, after a looooong and annoying process. The peeps over at weed doctor helped me out Maybe I will be able to get my doc to sign for more than 5g just in case I want to cook with it. That seems like the best thing to do in order to avoid future complications of not having enough. I'd rather too much than not enough....

Yes, I have a license for more then 5 grams a day, and no of others who have much larger licenses. You can get your doctor to sign for an increase in the amount. Also, if you are cooking with it they allow for higher numbers.
