but I bet its goin down!!! the senses keep tellin me drug war is about to run into deep shit, soon enough that i will see it b4 i get into deep shit cuz of this war!

look, all it takes, is to wait 10 years or so, our current college generation is goin to take up posts of these old hacks and trust me, these people are just not gonna continue something as ridiculous as drug war...

i have talked to many people about this, most find it too harsh and useless in accomplishments! and almost every1 of them agrees with the idea that if alcohol is made legal and since it has less or at worse equal bad points as marijuana does, one should be able to choose legally between the two

i have heard this from non-smokers, conservatives, liberals and stoners alike!
even from a couple of professors

we just gotta wait for this old 1930s-1960 mentality to completely die off, they are all almost there... too many of them will be dead within the next decade! we'll have some transition time, but i think eventually younger generation is going to make its mark and push for this stupid war to change or go away!

I said the same thing about my generation. That when the 60's 70's generation got into power shit would change. Guess what? I was wrong. It is evidently easier to subvert people that I thought it was.

I wish it were a generational thing. It seems that there are always extremists and they are the ones pushing for the ridiculousness of these movements. They are extreme by definition and care a lot more than the average joe or josi who feel ambivalence about the topic.

The same could be argued for racism and i see that disappearing nowhere fast.

There will always be crazies that want to instill their beliefs upon the masses.

Good point- there are always going to be people who make power plays on our fears, and will use anything from racism to the fear of evil potheads selling the devils herb to their kids to accomplish this.

Our job is to teach as many people as we can that cannabis is NOT scary, in the best way possible, to take that weapon away from them!

but im serious, this is one of my goals, but I very much prefer to push for public support using all available legal ways in my lifetime for this subject.

look, your generation-with no offense- had no long term history of DEA, there was no crack in the market back in 60s n 70s. there was hardly any supportive evidence of MMJ when your generation was forming their beliefs, there was no youtube, there was no internet.

I have been thinking for a long time to put 1 single video on youtube, but i wanted it to be the most common sense video ever, something that CAN actually catch some attention and raise some eyebrows and questions in mainstream media, something thats not too extremist on 1 side or another. I still believe such a video can have an impact if it is made with utmost accuracy and use of common sense. certain people will never change their opinions, but standing them off face on is the only way, now whatever the method u should always try to push. there are 100+ million americans who have smoked weed, yet less than 1% of stoners ever take activism seriously and participate. this tells me they prefer to live in a situation like this and avoid all the spotlights. I'm not one of those and if the situation continues to be this way, there are more liberal places in the world i dont mind immigrating to later on in my life for having my weed. but i think until i personally come to that conclusion- that no way marijuana can be reclassified- which will be the day i personally have unsuccessfully exhausted all available legal means to me to push for legalization, i wont dodge america for weed, until that day i will do all in my power to push for legalization and public education.

that's really great flyingimam. i'm so interested in law and would love to go into that field as well as politics. but the thing with politics is that someone who really does want to do good for the people and can except the truth rarely makes it that far, or atleast far enough for it to matter.
