I have been reading it for quite some time, but this book by richard clark, is a first person biography from the perspective of the one guy able to be there every step of the way in our war on terrorism.

If you have any single question about the war, I would dare say you would find the answer in this book no matter what it is. This book describes several attacks many dont even know about long before sep. 11. and also explains the true reasons we are in Iraq today, the progress we've made over the years, and the threats that still face us today.
