Gonna have to ban my IP then. Its fucking hypocritical to allow torog to spread hate on muslims, gays and liberals, and i say the same shit about amerikkkans i get banned. Whats the difference? I'll tell you what it is, Torag pays to be a member of the cafe. And cafe members dont get banned. And ron bennet is right wing nazi who i will never give money to. This politics board needs no moderator. In the 4 years i posted on marihemps politics board not one post from anyone was ever removed, not one person was ever banned. Why not put a rule at the top of the page saying free speech is ok, as long as you agree with us?

i may have not been around here that long but i have gone back and read lots and lots of old posts and i have never seen any anti-muslim speech.if you are refering to the people who strap bombs to themselves or young 17 year old children with downsyndrome in the name of "allah" that isnt hate speech.get with it.

I am not pointing fingers, but if you had just finally been released from months of being held hostage, wouldn't you be in a hurry to get the hell out of there? I know I would, I'd have the pedal to the floor. Maybe she just exaggerated the number of shots fired because she was terrified. I've never been shot at, but if some Marines were shooting at me, I'd probably have a hard time keeping track of the number of shots fired. I'm sure 20 or 30 shots could have seemed like a lot more. Although 300-400 rounds does seems a bit extreme.

Lastly, based on the new numbers reported, 9 out of 10 Canadians are more embarressed by deadboy than by Pamela Anderson's breasts.

i hear ya,i would be in a hurry!however the driver knew he was driving down one of the most dangerous roads in iraq.innocent iraqis and americans have been killed there for two years.hundreds of ied's and suicide attacks.not to mention that they did not tell the americans they were coming because they had just paid the terrorists 10 million dollars(something we would never do).the checkpoint wasn't hidden,there were spotlights everywhere.they werent the only car on the road either.they were speeding and swerving lane to lane.now the americans who had had many attacks against them just like this reacted just like any soldier would.they followed the 5 rules of engagement to a t.not even the italians believe her story.the italians are even starting an investigation to see if she was kidnapped at all or if it was a hack job from the beginning to get the insurgents $$.why would a lady who writes for a communist newspaper be going to iraq?do you believe she was there to cover the story fairly?was she there to support the iraqi peoples democracy.communists love democracy ya know!

Understood, amsterdam, I did not know the whole story. It seems like she and her driver invited their own trouble. Seems to me she might have just wanted to blame the Americans...it seems sort of fashionable now to bash the US, doesn't it? I wasn't saying anything bad about Marines, I was just saying that if I was a hostage (if she even was), I'd be hell bent on getting out of there as quickly as possible, too.
