Matanuska Tundra
I have been growing for a year now and am ready to go to the very exotic type of strains:thumbsup: I have been looking into Matanuska Tundra by Sagamartha Seeds.
I would have put this in Seeds and Strains forum but that folder seems to be closed:wtf:
I have done research on the Internet and the only Sagarmatha Authorized distributor that ships to this part of the world is Hemphouse in the UK (and the price 70.00 pounds UK). In fact Sagarmatha will not ship or has any authorized distributors in North America.
I see that hempdepot carries Sagarmatha ( Mantanuska Tundra $330.00 USD)but at a much inflated prices compared to European distributors. In my Opinion this is due to the logistics involved to get the seeds to Canada since Sagarmatha won't ship to Canada.
What my question for you all is. Does anyone have growing experiance with this strain and has anyone ordered from Hemphouse before?
Any and all comments are welcome this is a researsh type of question.
Thanks

What I am looking for is the closest strain available to the Legendary (Matanuska ThunderFuck) which by my research the only seedbank that has the original MTF phenoes is Sagarmatha seeds. First is this true? I know that MTF was a cloan only strain and no male ever existed so any seed is a cross or Hybrid form of it. I also read that Reeferman has a Pheno from this strain but has conflicting writings on this.

HMMM. no reply yet?
Is this one of those strains nobody tried yet? I figured someone knows something about this strain and can tell me if this is a good strain to grow or at least if the stuff stated is true about this being a direct decendent of MTF.
Thanks,
JG

Thanks Stinky your the best:thumbsup:
I was waiting for you or one of your colleagues to come around and answer this post.
I heard of that strain but had conflicting reports on it. Can you verify which is true please or both not true. One It is a cross of MTF and another strain from Kodiak Island, the other it is a pure strain from Kodiak Island not a hybrid.
Thanks

I'm sorry I can't help ya much on that one, but if you search within this site on the terms 'MTF' and Matanuska you will come up with quite a lively discussion of the heritage and breeding of the Alaskan localized derivatives of the type of plant grown up there since Pipeline days and adapted to the short season and to indoor conditions.
One of the lines I've had the pleasure of running, I've spread around my local group a bit and am hearing reports that this year it was FINISHED the first week in September and is now trimmed and dried!
