Hey,
I didn't read the rest of the replies to this, but in my opinon it is not a good idea to treat anxiety with mj if you have severe anxiety. And believe me, I'm all for it as a medicine. I even did a huge sppech in my communication class at college on the medical benefits of mj. But some reputable studies say that it can increase anxiety in people who have anxiety people (and some people that don't). And I have to agree with that because I have seen a couple people have anxiety attack while on mj (in my experience mostly people with anxiety problems). But for a person with anxiety that is normal or a little above normal it can work wonders by reducing anxiety substantially. Some people get sketched out because they know they are doing something illegal (unless they have a card). If your anxiety is really bad i would suggest zanex, but it can be physically addictive for some people unlike mj which is not at all physically addictive(it can be emotionally addictive for some people in rare rare cases). good luck. I hope my advice helps.
CaliGreens Reviewed by CaliGreens on . Anxiety and MMJ Hi, newb questiosn here. I've been taking what is basically paxil (I have the generic paxil) for probably 6 or 7 years now. I'm looking for more natural alternatives and looking at MMJ. I just have a few questions. How effective is it in controlling anxiety? How would I go about getting a perscription or recommendation? I live in Orange County, Fountain Valley. How traceable is having a doctor's recommendation. I would like to keep this privite if I go this route. I believe my medical Rating: 5
