How do you go about making your room light tight and still being able to get into it? From one of your first pictures it looks like its duct taped shut but how do you get in and out?
The picture that you are referring to is my exterior window, I had originally planned on using the area to keep moms and clones, but I don't want to now, it's kinda a pain in the ass to keep sealing it up. Yes, I am a big fan of panda plastic, and duct tape! Here are pictures of my door though, again, panda plastic and duct tape, took a day to get it figured out, but it is light tight! Works really well, and was really simple to do.
I just hung a sheet of pp over the door and frame. Then cut out the middle, (the door part) leaving the plastic around the frame. Then I went back and duct taped the fuck all the way around it except for the side that opens of course. On the hinge, it's taped to the wall and door, and the other side and top is taped to the wall outside the frame. Then went back with a staple gun and stapled it, where you see the cardboard pieces. Putting the cardboard over the pp just help prevent the pp from ripping. On the bottom, I taped pp to the door, and stapled a large piece of cardboard folded @ a 90 degree angle to the door on top of the pp. So when I leave and shut the door, the pp is flush against the bottom crack. Works awesome and is nearly airtight too. I hope that all made sense. Hopefully the pictures will fill in the gaps if it doesn't.

It's amazing how something so simple can be so crucial! I am really proud of my door! Works well, no light in, no light out!
