No pics tonight, feeling lazy. I watered last night with ph 6.7 ro, 1 drop per gallon ST, 1 ml/gallon calmag, 1 ml/gallon LK, 2 ml/gallon Pure Blend Pro Grow. We will see what happens. I watered to runoff, wanted to make sure they got good and saturated, it had been since about Sunday since most had any water, that was during transplant. I have yet to see any "transplant shock", even in my previous grow. My plants really haven't missed a beat at all. I may post some pics tomorrow night at day 15. I am hoping that I will be able to take a couple clones from each in a few weeks. I am a little worried, most all the AI seem to be doing the single cola thing which is great, but I am not sure how I will take clones? None of the AI's are really developing any significant side shoots, while the MKs are more so. We will see though, I still have a few weeks, hopefully, if all goes well, I will flip them around Oct 15th. I would love for them to start showing sex on their own so I could thin out the herd! I am damn near outta room.
Got my euro air cooled hoods in, LOVE THEM. REally easy to set up, work perfect with my existing ballast and socket. I initially set it up so my can fan was blowing through them, (I have them daisy chained together), but it didn't work all that well, so now it is pulling through them and pushing exhaust out into the attic, where it is going through a carbon scrubber. Damn near put a hole in the ceiling of my grow room when I was in the attic. I was standing on the dry wall and not the joist, ooops. Now there is a hair line crack. Luckily the dry wall is supporting the carbon scrubber, which was a biatch to get up there and set up right, (I think it weighs 35 or 40 lbs?!)
So far with the new hoods, my temps are maintaing at about 83ish degrees, but that's with both lights running! (I know it's a little overkill for veg, but I want to get an idea of what the temps will run in flower with both lamps).
83 doesn't sound that great, but when you consider that it was up to 91 92 with both lamps on with the ol' bat wings, you can imagine the tingly feelings I got in my legs! The lights are also about 6 inches closer to the canopy than they were previously too, so all that considered, they are doing their job! Now I just have to hope like hell my can fan doesn't go to shit due to the higher operating temps! It says on it not to exceed 80 degrees Celsius, I am no math wiz, but I think that's like a bizillon degrees Fahrenheit?:wtf:
The footprint from the hoods are much better too, getting a better coverage area than I was with the crappy ass bat wings! Will post pics tomorrow night!
