How exciting! Thanks DP, I forgot to really explain that.
The ducting underneath the carbon filter goes back to the back wall of the closet. Through it, and attached to a flange that is in the back wall of my bedroom closet, then in front of that in my bedroom closet, I have a big ass Lasko blower trained right on the 6 inch hole, forcing all the nice a.c. air from the master bedroom, into that ducting, into the grow room. 24 hours a day. I did add a 6 inch inline right in the end too to help enhance the air flow into the room, the lasko fan pushed a ton, and the exhaust alone without the intakes creates a significant negative pressure situation, but with the 2 fans working together, that is really the jist of my intake air. I do have the house a.c. vent in the grow room as well, but that doesn't amount to too much. (It's on and off)
I have thought about getting a couple of more flanges, cutting a couple holes in the panda plastic over the nursery, and fitting some more ducting onto that. Then just letting that act to 1., move air through the nursery, and 2. act as an additional passive intake for the main flower area. I would love to just chop up the walls a little more, but my wife already had a friggin' hemroid over the 6 inch hole in the ceiling for exhaust to the attic, and the 2 6 inch holes in the backs of both the closets. So doing any additional will have to be through that nursery door taking advantage of outside air, just not sure if I can do it and keep it light tight. Not to mention it was about a 100 friggin' degrees outside today. But I know that later on this year it may pay off big if I can make it work.
On a scale of 1-10, how "critical" do you see this? Given the exhaust and intake are both running 24/7? I really have no idea what the air exchange rate is in there, but it does get a constant supply of fresh air from the living areas of the home through that intake. Do you think it may need more? I know it would help to get my temps down likely, but as far as the plants future health? (As they get bigger and respirate more?) Let me know in your professional opinion sir! Thanks again, I feel very privileged to have your 2 cents! I welcome any and all suggestions that you may have!
