Master Kush, Aurora Indica Perpetual Grow
"So why do you have a key lock on that bedroom door?" My mother inlaw asks me while she was here visiting recently.
So you don't open the door walk in, have a heart attack and die on the spot! I keep large highly venemous snakes in there, no cages, they just hang from the ceiling fan!
As for the rest of you here, welcome to my grow! You have a key to the room. Enjoy.
Be nice!
Here it is, my very first grow log. My hope, is that by posting this, I will be able to get some great criticism, as well as be able to maybe help some other folks out as well.
So lets get to it.
The rundown on this show.
I am running,
-10 Master Kush (Nirvana) From Seed
-10 Aurora Indica (Nirvana) From Seed
-3 Lowlife Lowryder Mystery Indicas (Freebies)
-1 Green Crack (Fingers Crossed, very likely a Feminized Seed, I do have
Reverse)!
Lights
- 2x 400 watts, (Alternating them on off, 24 hour Veg)
- 2x 400 watts, HPS Flowering
- 1 T12 (For Mommies, clones)
Soil
- FoxFarm LightWarrior/FoxFarm Ocean Forrest
Nutes
- Advanced Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow, (If needed)
- Advanced Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom (Soil & Hydro Formulas Both
Available)
- CalMag/ Liquid Karma
Ventillation
- A big fucking can fan, it sucks big time.
- A big fucking carbon filter, w/ can fan for exhaust
- A 6 inch inline duct fan, as well as a booster in the closet of my
bedroom blowing air into the ducting. The 6 inch in line is in the
grow room at the end of the ducting for intake
Temps
- Maxing out @ 85*, as low as 75* if I am lucky. (Maxing at 85 with 1
running, if I run both then they max out at 89-91, which is why I am
running just 1.
Misc
- For now I am using RO H20, this may change in the future. I am not
sure yet, I keep debating, my tap is horrible at about 380ppm around
8.5 ish ph! Once they get more mature I may feel better about
switching them over to it. Plus, getting and lugging the needed amounts
of RO is going to be a pain in my ass soon.
- I have a large recessed window area in the back of the room, this is
covered by a large piece of panda plastic, it will be my mom/clone area,
I will just have the window behind it open to get air in and out of there,
it's not 100% air tight, but it's pretty much air tight. I have yet to test
it for 100% light tight, (if it is not it will be though. It will be tested.)
- The flower area is in the main area of the room, which is now where I
am vegging these seeds. Once I am ready to flower, I will be taking
cuttings from the females, moving them to the "nursery" and veg them
out to get 2 moms of each strain. From there I will be running clones
from those moms after that and putting the clones into flower.
Purpose
- Pretty well covered it above, just to get a nice harvest for one, but to
also capture some of these genetics as mums, and run straight from
clones in the future.
That's it. If I forgot anything just ask. Here are some pics of the general setup and overview.:jointsmile:8182KSKUSH Reviewed by 8182KSKUSH on . Picture update!
Here we are, Day 12 Veg, Plants are all looking super duper with the exception of the "GreenCrack", I don't know if it will make it. It's pretty runty, and the root system was very underdeveloped as compared to the others.
I have transplanted all into 1.5 gallon pots, I am still amazed at the root systems that I saw on these plants, they were only in there small pots for what 10 days or so? Unbelievable! I am hoping that these 1.5 gallon pots will contain them for another 30 days or so. There is some secondary branching developing on the Master Kush plants, the Aurora Indicas have not done the secondary branching as of yet, but they are keeping up with the MKs as far as nodes go. Leaf sets are looking nice, big fat fan leaves, some with 5 points, a few with seven. I do have a few leggy plants in their, and of course the circus freaks as well.

Hey thanks for stopping by! This has been really lonely!
Yeah I like the 3 leaf freak alot! It's really odd in developement and color? It has been that weird vibrant green since the day it popped out of the soil, and has never changed? I guess it's ok, it appears healthy otherwise. I do have another freak, but it looks kinda weak, leaves are all shrivled and look really small and dry or brittle even though they are soft. It's a MK though. The circus freak is nice to because it hasn't done any stretching, developing nice and short and kinda bushy!
Keep on comin' by! Don't let me love these things to death, it's only my second grow so I want to avoid any disaster mistakes if possible, any help you can give is appreciated! Thanks again for the kind words!

Update,
First, I apologize in advance, no pics tonight. It is too damn late, I still have some ironing to do and then it's bedtime.
Tonight/(last night) I watered with 1 ml per gallon Liquid Karma, and 1 drop per gallon of superthrive, in ro water ph'd at 6.6.
I transplanted 7 of the bigger plants tonight which is why this posting is so short and late! They went from half gallons to 1.5 gallons, next stop, 3 gallons (cross fingers and hope that's enough!). I was surprised at how well the roots had developed on the 7 that I did transplant, like angel hair pasta! I am thrilled all seems to be going smoothly! (Knock on wood). I also transplanted the 3 lowlife lowryder myster indicas from their puny pots into half gallons. I maybe should have just put them into the 1.5 gallon pots too, but oh well.
So I walked into the show tonight, and the distinct smell of dank weed hits me! I am shocked! After nosing through each plant, I realize it's the lowryders! They smell great folks, I hope they give me a little appetizer while the Master Kush and AI finish!
I will post pics tomorrow!
Good Night!

I am going to say this is at Day 1 veg.
Really they were started from seed, so they are now at the point of having 5 sets, or getting there 5th sets in as I type.
I had a little trouble a week or so ago, they were originally germ'd in RR, in 16 oz party cups, in addition to ph issues (too high) they also became root bound before I realized it! They did stunt for a week, and some lower leaves went brown and dry, but they have since recovered amazingly, and have been transplanted to 1/2 gallon pots, with FFOF, Ph runoff is at 6.8 with the RO H20 in at 6.6-6.7, nothing added, just 1 drop of superthrive per gallon. They have had 2 watering (1 at transplant) and yesterday with superthrive. They have greened up and rejuvinated well. Growth is now vigorous. Temps may have also played an issue early on, as I was using both 400 watt lamps, and the temps would get as high as 91, and as low as 86. I have since cut back, thinking that may have been overkill anyway, and my temps are now more acceptable at the highest 85, but maintaining around 82 to 83.
Here are some pics of the plants.
The first are the 10 AI
The second the 10 MK
The third an AI, #4 I think, it has always been lime green for some reason since it popped.
The rest just individual pics. Nothing very note worthy as of yet. The small light colored pots are the LLLR MI, I have treated them like red headed step children, they were free. So we will see what happens I guess.
I also have 1 greencrack baby in there, it's up at the front, non distinguishable from the rest really, it actually suffered the most early on and I thought that it was a goner. Somehow it pulled through though, and the new growth looks good now. It looks like it only has 3 or 4 sets of leaves, but the cotelydons, and 1st set completely dried and fell of before I transplanted.

Above, the 4th pic is an AI, and the 5th is a MK.
Here are some more pics of my "palm tree farm".
The 4th pic is the GreenCrack that had a near death experience.
The 5th is a MK, that has looked all fuct up and retarded ever since it came out of the ground. It is continuing to grow, just looks weird.:wtf:
