It does not take long for heat to occupy an area. This is not a question of time but rather a question of cooling. You can get a 4 pack of CFL's for $8 US. Get two of those, with some y socket splitters and a power strip.

If you skimp on your lighting and cooling you might as well not having a plant that will yield much or be very potent. In addition you can bring about a hermie.

Which i'm going to guess your plant came from a feminized seed since you planted only one, increasing your likelihood to get a hermaphrodite plant.
daihashi Reviewed by daihashi on . 1st ever grow - leaves curling Hi, this is my 1st ever grow, I planted a Big Budha Cheese seed and after 2 weeks it seems to have grown pretty well. Im using a 250w halogen light about a foot and a half above the plant in my closet, along with a fan for ventilation. Its quite warm in there but not 2 hot. The plant looks healthy but ive started noticing the bigger leaves curling slighty upwards at the edges. they are srill nice an green. I water the plant once every 3 nights with about a glass of water with a tiny drop of Rating: 5
