Advice on blooming plant
I am new and made a mistake by posting this on the wrong board. I got the site right but the board wrong .
I've moved it twice now and think I have the correct board now!
I have a very nice, outdoor potted plant that is appx 2.5' and blooming nicely it seems.
It won't produce a lot, but the quality is outstanding. The leaves even pack a little punch.
I've always had a green thumb but I'm new to this.
Right now, it has appx 12-14 tops or flowers. The larger tops are about 1 month old. They have continuous white hairs (best way to describe them) on them as they begin growing (from the time it was a tiny plant these "hairs" appeared) and throughout the growing process. I see a touch of purple in the flowers because some of the leaf stems are, I assume.
Anyway, I am at a loss as what is best for optimal results at this last phase of growth. It came from a tiny white seed I was lucky to find and when it did manage to sprout, it took patience, attention and some hormones to give it a strong base to even grow. It's a runt, but I'm proud of my little girl! Here are my questions I would be very grateful to have any answers given to:
Should I be feeding it anything?
Do all the leaves (some large in proportion to the plant now) need to remain on the plant-- including the ones near or coming out of the flowers?
I have no idea what the time frame should be. It has some new flowering going on and the larger ones are getting bigger.
Do I just let it go until frost arrives in about 2 months?
I have people bugging me to death asking for clones.
I have no idea if it would work with the rooting powder and hate to remove more than a leaf. It could harm it, in my opinion.
Again, any advice or contacts to other sites (I've read a lot of info) would be appreciated very much! Thanks in advance!blugraywind Reviewed by blugraywind on . For the feeding part I can say that you'll should be given them some nutriments, cannabis is a plant "eating" a lot and they need a little bit of help with that. Maybe the soil where you're plant in already have some nutriments, maybe not, it hard to say... I'll go ahead and give them nutes for the flowering. Them plant has been flowering for how long ? Making clones from a plant far into flowering is not really easy and it will stress you're plant too. If you really need to do it don't take too many and try to take the lower branch with less white hair on them. After you took the clone give them 24 hours of dark, so they can recuperate from the shock and after that 18/6 or 24. The clones may take a few weeks to go back to vegging before they grow roots, be patient, keep them under a dome (high humidity is really important), spray them at least 2 times a day and open the dome to give them some Co2. Purple may be normal, depending on the strain of the plant and if it's getting colder out there expect them to become even more purple. If the frost is coming soon check the plants trichomes to see if its near harvest. Go in the FAQs there is a great article about trichomes. If you know the strain and for how long it's been flowering it may give you an idea of how much time they need to flower. Some strain need 6 to 8 weeks some other take longer I saw needing 12 weeks.

It's been in bloom for about a month. I guess I won't be getting clones from it because it sounds too difficult to do at this point. I sure wish I could...
I got it some food and fed it yesterday. I'm hoping newer and lower/ smaller flowers get some size going like the top ones.
I still don't know what to do about the large leaves. The stems that go directly into the flowers look like hoses for them or something. I just wonder how many they need and if too many take away from the flower itself.
I wish I had my camera. It's awfully nice.

The lower branch usually have smaller buds, because they are lower and the light don't reach them as the upper one, you should not worry about that. If you want them to get bigger you always put some CFL on the side of the plant or even an T5, may help get you more buds where the light not reaching.
For the fert you should check the manufacturer instructions... If you tell us what ure using we may be able to help you get better mix.
