Good for you! That's the kind of Republican I am as well. (Well, I take that back, that's the kind of Republican I was. I switched my party membership after seeing the way the GOP treated Ron Paul. The two major parties have succeeded in making it illegal (impossible is technically the word, I guess) to register as a Libertarian in my state (NC), so I'm now officially an "unaffiliated" voter.

Good luck on changing some of the current views. You'll need it. Sadly, it seems to me the trend in the party lately has been away from the true conservativism and more towards big gov and the sacrifice of individual liberty. But if anyone is going to go in there and try to reverse those trends in the Grand Old Party, I'll support her all the way.

On Monday I go to the Republican Headquarters and help make phone calls and all that jazz. At the college I'll get to help people register to vote and I'll get to hang out with other people who are interested in the same things as me. Oh and by the way, most of the people are actually Libertarians who registered Republican so that they could vote in our state's primaries. Oh I'm so excited! This is going to be a great way to meet people! Rating: 5
