I'll try with you just to see what happens. Chances are though that eventually it will all fall behind. How far into flower is it? How long do we have to keep it alive until it's finished?

Anyways cloning off it and revegging the clones is going to be tough anyways and you'd be better off to start new. With the size of the plant it's probably growing using what it has stored in the plant and you will gradually see is start to yellow once those reserves are gone. Do you have and airstone or a pump of any sort that can bubble inside the bottle? If you to I'd try to get it in there to make sure the water is always full of oxygen.

As for caring for the "root" I would take a razor and make veriticle cuts about an inch and a half up the stalk to the bottom tip, just deep enough to put a scour through the bark. Put a rooting horomone on it for the first 2 days then no more. Rooting horomones don't actually promote roots they promote blank cells inessence like our stem cells, once the cell is blank it will adapt to do the job closest to it(in your case process water into the plant and eventually grow into roots if we make it that far), however if you always reapply it the cells will always stay blank and never adapt because that's what you are telling them to do.

Don't expect to grow roots it will never happen before harvest, our goal is to keep this plant alive till harvest or close to it, nothing else, no clones, no revegging.
