I was actually opening the door when all of a sudden I thought, "Holy crap! What if it's one of my in-laws from down the street!" They are hard-core Dems, very active in the party. I know they have always suspected me of being a closet conservative, because I have an open mind and am willing to give conservatives their points when I do agree. Man, if they found out I was watching The O'Reilly Factor, they would probably freak out and never trust me again! Anyway, it was just some guy trying to sell a roofing service --- lucky for me.
What difference would it make which way you lean? The way I see it my if someone doesn't like my perspective in politics... well that's their problem not mine. I will try to explain my point of view to them but I don't ever worry if someone thinks I'm conservative or liberal.. annoyed sure, but care... not at all.

I have no shame in my beliefs.
