Tomato Blossom set fruiting hormone...
Alright, so this may seem like a no brainer to the stinky's out there. The tomatoes (real, actual tomatoes) were having trouble setting fruit this summer so I tried something new: tomato hormone to spray on the developing blossoms. This is a hormone that helps the blossom set fruit...don't ask me how it works maybe stinky could explain.
It worked great on the tomatoes, HOWEVER, over the next couple of days and week I noticed a few male flowers popping there nasty ball sacks out of the main stems of two of my herbs!
I'm convinced it's related to the tomato blossom spray that I used fairly liberally in the garden...so be forewarned: do not use this tomato hormone spray anywhere near your herbs!
I wonder if any experienced growers out there would comment...Stinky, anyone...cannawish Reviewed by cannawish on . Tomato Blossom set fruiting hormone...
