Harvest the same as any female plant....and if your not in a hurry for the seeds...leave them in the bud during the curing/drying process...I did...and have many seeds that germinate quicky....
...and that's only the lower one-third popcorn buds...the rest is sensi....

Minimum 4 weeks from pollination, 5 weeks if you care about the seeds.
Hang to dry over a rimmed baking sheet or lasagne pan to catch seeds as they drop.

Maybe it's because I only pollenated the lower one-third bud sites: but I didn't have a single seed fall out; during harvest or dry/cure...:wtf:..???
...in fact, I didn't know I had any seeds until I broke the buds open by hand, to roll one......they were big brown/dark grey seeds COVERED with green fuzz. Anyone know if this is unique? White Widow strain.

Crowlee please stay on topic and try not to thread-jack.
Growing for seed and growing for bud are not exactly mutually exclusive, but it takes a good knowledge of the plant to do both on one plant- you have to know exactly what your harvest time is supposed to be, and pollinate at the correct time so seed ripeness and bud ripeness occur simultaneously.
Your question was about when to harvest seed. That's what peoples' answers are based on. Harvesting bud is secondary if you care about your seeds.
