Anyway finally things have gone my way and i now have 6 beautiful girls and three other shady characters :wtf: who happened to land in my sacks from some OUTRAGEOUSLY priced so-cal club(sooo bullshit, i'm not used to this commercialism:wtf: The seeds came from sacks that were cali gold, haze :jointsmile:!?!?!, and g-13. All good bud, but pretty disappointed at the prices they charge for seeded herb!

You can see i have six clones two "pure kush" the stout little pair.
I have 3 others who seem to be a hybrid leaning sativa dominant. If you want to know the name, remind me. I cant recall it at the time but perhaps when i'm less baked.:smokin:
Then the last on i believe my friend called it a "carmel kush" clone, it also is a hybrid.

Growing organic, guanos, worm castings all that jazz.

Right now got em set up under 4 foot T-12's. lights are usually above the plants btw. easier to get pics this way.

I'm at a crossroads do i get an air-cooled hps and grow in my garage in a enclosed sun hut type of deal (that i make for less!) with no air intake from outside the garage. I would be intaking filtered garage air, and exhaust back into the garage. Lights would be at night to take advantage of cool temps. I live in a great climate by the way 70's mostly . Do you think everything could remain at a stable temp providing i have a couple oscillating fans?

That's the option i would prefer and i would scrog each strain individually.

The other options I'm considering are a rubbermaid cfl closet grow, if temps are going to be a problem, or if i would run into powdery mildew. whadya think?

I'll be honest i want this grow log to increase my knowledge of this plant. Any suggestions, advice, or discussion. Especially to all the mods.

So 2nd week and few problems reared there heads. 1st of all got some fungus gnats, which i took care of with those hot shot no pest strips. Givin em too much water. So im posting a few pics of some of my leaves, with discoloration problems, and some curling. I feel both of the problems have to do with my water which contains calcium deposits. I'm thinking all the calcium is locking out the mg... So anyway got them some distilled water and will see if it helps also, i'm foliar feeding with a tad bit of epsom salts now to hopefully get these girls back to health.

looks like damage from the water drops. do not leave water drops on your leaves when the lights are on

distilled water will not work... i think maybe a simple one part veg nute will help if you have not fed them already. i use GH maxigro dry(might be hydro only), its like 10 bucks, works great

Not really on a nute program, i got em in some organic soil right now. I don't think its from the lights and the water drops cause i'm under t-12 fluoros..

well just a heads up but my CFLS and old 4 tube fluoro would cause burns from waterdrops.. (looks very similar)

but anyways, what's your PH?

what do you mean your water has calcium deposits? how do you know?

well I have a feeling it might be ph, even if only off a little.

Your plants are stretching baaaad man. You need more light. How close are they to the plants usually? Is it just one 48in fixture? The spots look like light burn to me too, when the droplets stay on the leaf, they magnify. Check your Ph and EC if you can.
Ill subscribe to this thread and try to answer any questions I can. Few others may drop in Im sure.

Shit your cfls and 4 tube floro burnt your leaves? In that case i'll cut the foliar feeding cause i'm on a 24/0 cycle.

water ph idk i'm poor and i had to do this ghetto, but i'll go out and get test strips tomorrow.

Well our water is hard and when i'd spray the humidity dome it would dry leaving water spots from all the minerals in the water.

I have crusty shower heads which make me think calcium deposits.

For these reasons i switched to bottled distilled as i already mentioned.

I would have done everything right if i had the money, i just moved to a new town and money is tight. Gotta find a second job..

sorry stealth i didn't answer your question completely. I have one 48 inch fixture, kept about two inches from the tops of my clones. The three seedlings usually suffer, i'm propping them up with dvd's right now, i'll get em closer.
