What OS do you use?
the poll isnt multiple choice
i use Windows XP pro on my home desktop, it also has a fedora 9 (dual boot)
My server which runs very loudly in my basement has: server 2003, server 2008 and fedora 9 running on it. I use it for development and software testing. At the moment I have hyper-v running on 2008 with centos and some other distros, mostly for learning purposes.
I do have a MAC G5 but I am selling that.
NOTE: i have swappable harddrives with different OSs on them, so its pretty easy to switch them out. Its a dell poweredge 2650

I prefer Linux Freespire. Its a take off of the Ubuntu distro. Its the only operating system I've tried that I only had to install one driver for my hardware. No Micro$oft distro is capable of doing that. But I have 3 operating systems I use on my computer. Win98,WinXP Pro and Freespire. I have a hot swappable removable hardrive so it only takes a minute to have a different OS. And its much better than using a multi-boot program. Linux and Winxp are terrible about messing up the MBR. And once thats done you lose everything.

Interesting - more of us running Linux on here than I would have expected - of course there's only a handful of answers so far and I expect that the geek factor means more Linux users spend more time on the computer than average so maybe there will be significantly more Windows/OS X folks later in the poll.

Windows users download at least these 3:
Superantispyware
Bitdefender 2009 total
Ad-aware 2008
Follow the steps in the nfo files (open with notepad)
In the superantispyware your antivirus could give you a false positive, this is because of the keygen generator, ignore it.
Also if you set your system protection level on aggressive in bitdefender, sometimes when firefox is trying to update, it gives you a false positive as virus. Check help in firefox and you will see its firefox trying to upload, turn your protection level down to default.
Or you could just get the free stuff like malwarebytes.
I would also recommend a driver scanner Uniblue
