Hahahahahahaha!

I had wondered why there were all the wierd spellings of "new-clear" in the Palin speech that Kush had posted. Like this one:

It turns out that is how it was spelled in the actual official text as it was released to the press and as it ran on the teleprompter during the speech. In her earlier speech a week earlier she had pronounced it Geroge-Bush-style "nook-you-lar," so they spelled in phonetically for her in the speech so she wouldn't mispronounce it again. In her next speech, they'll probably spell Iran "eeeee-ron."
