(beginner_needs help with lights)

If anyone can help i have a 150 watt plant light with a cone refector on my new born plants, i understand that hps is alot better and is wat im going for... a friend recommended a site (Light bulbs, Rope Lights, Halogen and Fluorescent bulb - 1000-Bulbs - The Light Bulb Superstore) .... i found the product i want for real cheap but its all sold in parts and it is all sold seperatly im not really sure about how the ballast goes together with the bulb or if a need a lamp or hood or if i can use the same reflector i have any suggestions or has anyone ever used the site

if you buy seperate pieces i would recommend talking to the company you buy from to make sure the parts are matched up correctly.
ask them if they have an adapter to fit the socket to your reflector.

they will have the best answer for you
but if your not an electrician i wouldnt mess with it. buy a complete ready to plug in kit. plenty of cheap places around
