Haha!
now, im not saying you didnt, seeing as ive never met you, nor do i know your story. And im also not saying your doctor is a liar, but i personally dont believe that weed is able to make you overdose off six joints.

to me, i think your doctor overexaggerated and said you almost overdosed, seeing as there is no overdose limit that is strictly set, because no one, until this report, had ever reportedly overdosed on MJ. I myself have smoked quite a bit in a sitting before, and even in one day, and sure i felt horrible, and never before had i ever really turned down an opportunity to smoke, but that time it was too much, and i did actually pass it up, and i also felt like i was about to die, but i was fine. And i feel that after a while yes your brain will stop functioning normally just like as with any other substance you could do, or ingest, such as water, and even oxygen. and that you would most likely pass out and not be able to smoke anymore before you are in danger of overdosing, and even then, you would have to smoke more while you passed out to overdose. Maybe they were keeping you in the hospital for a week for evaluation of your condition, you may had been pretty worn out from the smoking and the partying, or wanted to see what your mental state was like, and didnt tell you to your face that they were analyzing you for risk factors such as suicide, as is common with cases of "overdoses."

Im not trying to sound like i dont believe you, but there are a few different reasons why they did what they did, and said what they said, that arent linked to any actual danger from overdosing. The body, especially of younger people, is very resiliant to damage, especially with such benign chemicals as THC and the other chemicals in weed. I feel you are more likely to overdose, or just overload your body on those other chemicals, the tars, and toxins released, than the psychoactive chemicals, meaning that other forms of smoking are safe, but that you have to watch your intake of the other substances.
