Weed not fun anymore??

Weed doesn't really get me "high" anymore either...no matter how I smoke. It's sort of like taking a good multi-vitamin now or something...is this what you are talking about? Take a break...2 weeks. Smoke and see if you like it anymore. If you don't repeat a few times till you decide to "quit" who knows...you may enjoy it later on in life.

Hey guys, I've been smoking the green for a while now and lately when i smoke it just seems to not really be as fun as it used to be, almost like i'm just getting sick of being high which i thought i would never say. I've been smoking pretty much everyday for a couple months and now that school has started i really find that its harder to concentrate than it was last year and my memory sucks now. Yea i was sooo baked after that 10 day break but each time after that day that i smoked i was back to ground zero you know?
I also just got this nice bong w/ an icecatcher and it rips better than i could have hoped for. What im just going to do is take a nice long break and get my lungs at least semi-healthy then blaze again.

Thats what I would do. Be sure when you start back you do it slow(Every few days) and maybe that will help more. I hope it does anyway, nobody should have to go with out being able to get high...

im on a long tollerance break right now, its about 1 and a half weeks into it, and im not gonna smoke until my grow is finished (almost 7 weeks into veg, about to flower) and before i started my break i almost wasnt getting high off smoking a whole joint to myself. i cant wait until my plants are finally done..im gonna get high as fuck.

Combine, I was in your position a while back. I have stopped smoking cannabis and my life has been incredibly good since then. I made a thread a while back, you might find it, but some idiots decided to ruin it by insulting me and my decision to quit. I don't know if it got deleted because of those kidiots.

It sounds as if you aren't getting high because you smoke too often. Don't smoke every day. Make it a once a week or twice a month type thing. The high will be better.

There are many things to get your mind off cannabis. Play sports, pick up a hobby of your choice, listen to music, read books. I would suggest studying. If you are having difficulty concentrating, studying what you did in school that day will train your mind to pick things up faster in your daily life and in class (remember: learning is understanding and not memorizing) and will get you better grades (there is nothing wrong with trying to get the best marks as possible).

yeah i agree... i smoked daily for years.. and because it didnt give me the same effect as when i first started smoking, I decided to quit for a few months..

i started smoking like a month ago, and man lemme tell ya, that first joint after 3 months of no smoking was BLISS.

I have smoked for 5 years on and off. Weed is never going to be as fun as when you started. I just think of it as, its twice as good as being sober .

Also as people have said, if you take a break, the weed will be better when you smoke again.
