Best smokin' time of the year?

September is awesome. The teenagers are back in school, and away from regular society. The weather is not so hot anymore, so I can hang out at the park and smoke a joint without the sun bearing down. And football has started!

Sure, in the summer I go to a lot of baseball games while a lil' high.

But in September, I know to go out and blaze a trail outdoors. Because in Colorado, a wicked snowstorm may not wait until November to strike. So I have as much fun as possible before winter weather happens. In the winter, I tend to smoke because it's too cold to go outside, or there's too much snow, and that may not get better until March.

So I'm deciding between April (great weather, with Opening Day plus basketball and hockey playoffs) and September as my favorite times of the year for smoking. I choose September.

I choose October, when the sugar maples are at their most scarlet, and the first frost has, as my friend puts it, 'killed off the weak and stupid'. (read: muskee-doos, although I think that wasn't what he was referring to)

And being a bit stoned helps me tolerate the tourists better... Put DOWN the camera and drive your Class A Road Slug with BOTH hands, please!

I think each time of year has it's own perks...

I first started smoking heavily in the Winter time, and at that point we were only smoking outdoors, so I'd know exactly when I was getting high by how my nose felt (I always felt it in my nose first). But in general, it's very nice to smoke during a snow-fall, indoors or outdoors.

Spring is probably one of my favorites, because that's when everything is done hibernating and the Earth comes to life again. My birthday is in April, so I have many fond memories of that first trip back out into the fields with no shoes and a tshirt on, smoking up a nice bowl, and just sitting and watching the water...

Summer, of course, is awesome for doing a stoned-swim. I don't advocate it to all, as it can be very dangerous if you aren't a strong swimmer or are too intoxicated, but generally speaking I fucking love enjoying the beach after a nice toke (just as long as i remembered to bring the sunglasses), and an inground swimming-pool @ a friend's house is just goddamn heavenly. Specially with the diving board

Fall, though, has got to be the best... that's the time when you can just throw on a cozy hoodie, go sit in the grass while the leaves crunch underneath, and the smell of the changing trees fills the air.. MmmMmmmm.....

    April.

The winter is wearing off and I can just sit on my back porch with the overhang up and smoke a bowl when its raining w/o worrying about it getting too hot and humid.

I love it. It's so peaceful.

"I have no preference" lol weeds is good any day of the year!

I tend to like cloudy and stormy/rainy/snowy weather more in general sober or high, but hell, living in htown we have a bright sunny and hot morning and by night u get soaked by rain!

but really its up to my general mood, i can smoke hash and sit around for hours under hot sunshine like getting a sunbath

or i can just go outside and enjoy a personal blunt in a dark cloudy and rainy weather... i like this more sometimes depending on the colors and nature around me, it makes them colors look stronger i guess, but still, i wont refuse to smoke in a desert either!
