How are you notified about rsults

I took my UA 9 (working days) ago and I haven't heard anything. If there was a problem, who would notify you? If the test came back positive, how long before you are notified?

I am pacing the house waiting for an answer. Any info would be helpful.

    Thanks

No news is always good news with a UA. It usually takes 2 or 3 days to get the results back.

The party thats paying for the U/A gets first dibs of the test results.

Call your employer and ask for your start date. That'll help give you an answer on whether you passed or if the employer had simply moved on to the next applicant for hire.

Never inquire about the test results. That makes things look bad for you, a person presumed to be "clean".

I would rather wait than call them up. If I was positive, I am guessing someone would call by know. Been pacing the house waiting for an answer.

    thanks

I'm in MN and was told that if my test was a fail that by law the testing co. had to inform me first before they informed my employer, which is exactly what happened to me a year ago. Is this a state by state thing? My test was because of an injury. sure wish I had QF>

It depends on wheter its a DOT type test or just a standard UA. If its a DOT type they have to try to contact you first.
