Thai Stick???

There must be someone that knows about the fine art of making Thai Stick.need to know about the strain that is used ,and were I can order sime rice stick.

As far as I've ever heard, it's typically a Thai strain of MJ (may be actually called thai, fucked if I know) that's skewered slightly on a stick (usually bamboo) and tied on with string. When it dries, the buds stick to the bamboo, and there ya go.

As for the particular strain, I'm sure it needs to be outstanding bud to stick to that bamboo skewer, so look for the best. and GOOD LUCK.

The Thai that I remember was fantastic: Probably the one type you'd want on a desert island if you had a choice.

There used to be mostly two types: small sticks with greenish stuff, about 15 per ounce, and larger sticks with highly resinous stuff, with gold and other colors, about 7 or 8 stickes per ounce. The second type was the best.

I've heard that only people in very high places (rock stars, millionaires, etc.) can get Thai today, and it's extremely $$$$$.

I don't know if it can be grown outside of Thailand, or a similar environment.

Eventually, in the 80's, Thai was not sold on sticks - it came in ziplock bags like most other stuff.

Also, there was a darker type called "Chocolate Thai", which was popular in the 1980's.

Wow do you bring back the memories of days gone bye. I remember a friend of mine used to get the Thai sticks back in the 80s. The last time I saw it was 89 when I scored a big stick for $50.00. Then after a while he had some of that Chocolate Thai like you said and then there was no more Thai Stick or Thai weed.
I live around the Hollywood area now a days and have friends in the music biz that have some pretty good connections for weed and they do get some of the best weed available anywhere but Thai Stick is a thing of the past. I have asked about it many times and no-one even knows what I am talking about, they are too young.
Thai Stick was tied to the stick with hemp string ripped from the stalk as the harvested it.

I hear the strain that originated in Thailand, are 100% sativa strains. That's just what I heard though. Makes sense seeing as that Sativas, most sativas anyways, can withstand and thrive in hot conditions.
