Superior Yielding Strains

Hi , I'd like to ask of you guys what strains you feel are superior to others as far as yield, size and girth... not talking stocks and stems here either ... I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the many strains out there and felt it best to ask some of the experts out here on this board. Being that I'm on the West Coast, ( Cali) I'd like to keep it to relatively easy to obtain strains in clone forum that can be picked up at a dispensary or legally delivered... thanks.

There are some truly classic strains that not only yield well, but also yield well under a variety of conditions.
My choices for these would have to include Pure Power Plant, Papaya (let it cure at least a month or you will say its flavor is crap), Hindu Kush, and Afghani Dream. These are from my experience. Mandala Hashberry is also a nice choice.
Never underestimate the importance of overall strain vigor in terms of final yield- a plant that finishes healthy yields more than a plant that limps across the finish line looking like death on a bun.

STINKYATTIC, here is whats on the table : Sour D , G-13, Hindu Skunk, Grape Ape, and or Bubblegum .. looking to pick one or two of these to work with. ... any recommendations ?.... also, you think Fox Farm's Ocean Forest was a good choice ? ( going to mix with some perlite 4/1 .. why ?.. because thats what the book said !..lol ..) now remember here, I'm as green as a crayon .. I have everything ready I believe, hut, lights, pots (3 gal) , fans, carbon filters, co2 tank with regulator, not sure yet between Advanced Nutrients or Dutch Master for my nutrients and additives yet (more overwhelming decisions) ... just no plants yet, trying to find a strain that is forgiving and will work well with my shortcomings wile I'm learning.. Im not a complete idiot, as I pick up fast, but I need a good starting point. I don't want to have to grow 10 of one kind to get the same results as 5-6 of another .. fallow ?...... thanks a lot STINKY, love reading your threads and advice when given.

I find ocean forest drains with improvement after adding perlite. I started adding a little, now i add about 1/3.

From what i have read Grape Ape is not a heavy yeilder. Not sure bout the others.
