Algae growth in soil
Hey AliceDee
Personally I would loose the dome!!!
The extra humidity will just make it worse, from your description of the plants, I don't think the dome is needed.
I would just let the top of the soil dry out, and water as needed.
Just my 2cents, please wait for the veteran growers on this.
Good Luck
:hippy:Dreadscale Reviewed by Dreadscale on . Algae growth in soil Hello all and thanks for stoppin in! I germinated my seeds with the wet paper towel method and it worked fine they all popped in 2 days. I put them into 12oz pop cans with holes in the bottom and watered them and put them under a dome to keep humidity up (~60%) Now I am noticing some green growth in the soil around the base of the little plants. I put holes in the sides of the cans after i saw the growth starting to make sure that the soil was drying up a bit. But now I'm just Rating: 5
