problem
My girls sprouted on March 1.(in ground) .They've been flowering since early July. The buds are looking good, but my top fan leaves and bud leaves are curling upwards, yellowing, browning, and then dyeing. They were sorta crispy when I removed them. Like dried completely out. The bottom leaves are still green. I want the bottom buds to get bigger, so I planned on Harvesting in late Oct. I dont want to lose my top cola's, so what can I do? What's wrong with my plant? The buds still look good by the way, but I know something's wrong. I've never seen the top leaves die off before the bottom ones. Any help appreciated. Sorry no pics. I'm been using Miracle-gro bloom booster 15-30-15 since flowering. I only have 2 plants that are doing this. The others are fine. The trichs are still mostly clear, by the way. Very few amber.

If it's crispy it means it's dry which means not enough water, LOL

Dont have any pics. Just thought I could get a few responses since they're outdoors, and this is the outdoor growing section. Guess not? And it's been raining ALOT, so they've had plenty of water.

problem
it could be caused by more things than just not enough water

problem
i am also loosing a lot of leaves to this, yellow and crispy is what is happening in my garden. Yellow to white to chrispy is more like it. I have tried epsom salts in spray (Magnesium deficency possible), i have tried watering less, but no help. I also gave them a folier feed when it started of grow big that is a vedging nute. ( the bloom nutes i am using have some nitrogen)
Someone told me on another forum that leaves will do this when Overwatered, so i tried holding back watering to every other day, no help. I am growing in containers.
So not mag deficency or overwatering. (for me, but maybe your problem may be one of these)
Since i water from a well, i am thinking i am getting more and more calcium maybe as the well lowers due to the summer lack of rain. I dont know what to do myself, but you may look at the the mag deficency idea. (i am now trying something called Purple Max that suposed to help nutrient uptake and turn plants purple and make more trichs, two weeks using it and i do see the trichs comming on super strong, but they do that anyway.)
i have also heard that plants start to eat themselves as they bud, I just dont freaking know. This started on my plants just as they started to bud.
Good Luck to you
i am a second year grower and am in no way an expert. Just passing on what i have had experience with.
