I am guessing: There has to either be a lot more to this or it is not true at all! PR:jointsmile:

Someone 40 yr's old is more likely to have a Down Syndrome baby than a teen-ager. From a medical standpoint!

If I knew I were 44 and having a DS baby, I doubt flying would make it any worse. My thinking is: Due to her religious beliefs, if she were in Dallas or Cuba, would make no difference, it will still be DS and my hope would have been to work myself to death and have a stillborn at the least! The only thing she endangered was her life and she could have been dumped at any hospital to get that taken care of.

We'll have to see if any of this is true. I will speculate and say, half truths'!! PR :rastasmoke:

If I had choosen a DS child, I would also choose to be with it daily! It is not a choice but a responsibility now, for her (then us, if she is elected).

People actually adopt DS children and enjoy the hell out of them! Usually, they have one parent home, and I am assuming her husband will be Mr. Mom?? PR
