You are driven out by a storm or earthquake, you return to find a destroyed home and/or business. You rebuild said home/business only for another storm/earthquake to come along and destroy all your hard work yet again.
Didn't Einstein say "the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results" ?
People are crazy.

some people leave, some don't. it has nothing to do with where u r talking about

and there is just far too many reasons involved in such decisions

one man can have 10 girls at a time and be 150% proud n happy about himself and his life

another man, may lose his wife and never be able to remarry any1 else ever again

most likely it comes from your personality/logic, they are bound to be together!
u cant pass judgment on them cuz u dont know their WHOLE story of lives.

thats a problem we all face ourselves too!!! how can u not see the relation?

1. u know u live in hurricane zone
2. hurricanes has killed many of your townspeople before and ruined or damaged the town a few times
3. yet u go back everytime and proudly start your life over!

1. smoking weed does have negative effects on our lungs (lets stick with this as its only proven side effect hypothetically speaking!)
2. non-smokers keep telling us not to smoke it, it can lead and may have led to diseases or death in the long run, which is partially and scientifically correct
3. yet, we toke n we do it proudly!:rastasmoke:

i know where ur comin from, true...
but u must have lived their lives in that place to see where they come from too (those that go back) and be able to pass a fair judgment
i have seen many stories of people leaving and never going back to settle after Katrina, i live in Houston, TX (FYI this was one of the major destinations for 3 years ago evacuees - 350 miles distance) and i know n see N.O. residents around here, lots n lots of them!
