I Love Fawlty Towers (Thank you Monty Python fans, you were right)

Ahhhh I'm watching episodes of it on YouTube and you were all right! I love it! Too bad there aren't that many episodes.

    The "German" episode is hilarious.

I realize this is coming about 2 months late, but hell, Fawlty Towers rocks! I was given the series about a year ago and my god, few things have made me laugh that hard. John Cleese is truly a comic genius--very few people can elicit laughter like that just from his facial expressions or the way he sullenly mutters a one-liner. And then of course there's all the outrageous characters he played with Monty Python--you will forever shine, Cleese.

Oh, and Manuel's hilarious too. I love how he's over a foot shorter than Basil--really helps with the comedy.

Andrew Sachs who played Manuel has been in the news recently.

Unfortunately Britain is riddled with people like Brand who have the idea that being a complete twat is somehow funny , I personally think that Brand is about as funny as plankton.

I am glad that my American cousins are tuned into MP and FT.

The dead parrot sketch cracks me up even after all the years that have gone by.
