You have to watch the temps with a heat pad. They can get pretty hot. But the pad is ussually only good for an hour. I like to just keep the QF and pad in my pocket till I get the call for a random. Then activate the heat pad and give it about a half hour to work. I buy a bunch of the cheap heat pads at the dollar store.

I have ordered QF synthetic and was wondering if I find that my temp is too low at test time and I have diluted as an emergency backup, can I use my diluted urine to bring the sample temp up. I haven't had time to practice yet and my randoms could be at any time during the week. I've suffered through 6 randoms this year with 3 coming back diluted/retest. My retests are observed so I dont want have any more diluted results. I just found this forum and plan to follow the dilution sticky for Rating: 5
