Help! First grow not going so well.
I began growing these aprox. a months ago and the growth has been EXTREMELY slow. They grow tall and thin quickly but seem to topple over and must be supported. I have included one picture but there are 4 other plants as well that look similar. I have a feeling its seed quality because it was brick seed u find on the bottom of your bags:rastasmoke:. I am currently in a well ventilated room and have been watering them regularly. There are no signs of mold and other than the slow growth seem fairly healthy. I have a 19 watt fluorescent(long one) and a 26 volt at the moment(pictured). I can get more lights fairly easy if you think its necessary. I am using basic potting soil w/nutrients.
Please help me.

Nutriments ?? what kind ? This is a really young seedling, if you give it nutes you have to stick 1/4 strength... The plant is trying hard to have light, this is why it's stretching. What is the distance from the CFL and the plant... A picture of the setup may be a good idea.

its basicly Miracle Grow soil but the longer light is about 5 inches above the plant while the other one is about 7 inches away. Also it may be worth mentioning that a seed used from the same bunch was planted outside and the same occurred.

Not the first time I hear people with young seedling dying because of Miracle Grow... It's a good soil but for older plants... I would advise to change the soil, but it's always risky the plant already seems weak, the shock can kill it. If you really want to do you (it may also save it), be sure not to break ANY roots. Plant in some potting soil no nute and pray !

It always better to know the strain before you grow... But you still have to learn, so if you really want to do it, try again with some of thoses bagseeds the right soil and you'll see it not that difficult. The Golden ruler, never ever talk about it !
Let us hear if you decide to give it another try, we may help.
