here is my method an I get about 90% to grow, not just germ. but grow. I do the paper towel thing also, but I wait much longer then just when they crack. I wait till the shell pops of or close to off, the tap root will be an inch long or so, and just because the shell is off doesn't mean it's ready, there is also something that keeps the two little leaves together, you need to gently rub this off to open the leaves up.Then place them in a small rockwool cube till you see them start to grow then place them in whatever you are going to use to grow the plant. Some people might disagree with this method but it works for me and it took years to perfect it.The best thing to do is get some bunk weed seeds and try this, the hardest part is opening the leaves up, you need to be gentle or you will teart the top off
