hey guys i have a seed that i put in wet paper towels and put under mi bathroom sink. i need to no wat i need to do and wat i need to use from here. this is my first grow so i mite need a lil extra help cuz im retarded!! lol thanks

Once the seed shell cracks open put it the medium (soil, rock wool, vermiculite, etc.) of your choice. Bury the seed about the length of the seed. Put it under a light. Water as needed and watch it grow. The plant(s) will need nutrients in the future. When to add nutrients depends on the medium you use and other environmental factors.

thanks man i think this seed it fucked!! i put it in a napkin and water and then put it in soil yesterday and light and a lil bit of water. and it aint doing shit. the seed was already a lil cracked wen i got it. and the seed it redbud i just thought wat the hell lets c if i can get ne thing.

here is my method an I get about 90% to grow, not just germ. but grow. I do the paper towel thing also, but I wait much longer then just when they crack. I wait till the shell pops of or close to off, the tap root will be an inch long or so, and just because the shell is off doesn't mean it's ready, there is also something that keeps the two little leaves together, you need to gently rub this off to open the leaves up.Then place them in a small rockwool cube till you see them start to grow then place them in whatever you are going to use to grow the plant. Some people might disagree with this method but it works for me and it took years to perfect it.The best thing to do is get some bunk weed seeds and try this, the hardest part is opening the leaves up, you need to be gentle or you will teart the top off

vegas is right, you shouldnt plant till the shell is completely removed, i have one plant that is stunted and growing slow because when the shell fell off some of the inner skin was left on the one leave, and the other leave overgrew in surface size, but was still thin, make sure that everything is clear of the leaves before planting, also, be gentle with the roots, they start really small, so if you mess them up they will grow fine for like a week or so and then just die

I dunno what you guys are smoking...in the wild the seeds just fall on the ground.. it doesn't make a difference if you germinate in a paper towel or right in the soil ...

I soak the seeds in distilled water for 12 hours before planting them directly in the soil.. i cover them for humidity.. and once they sprout i remove the cover

I only do the paper towel thing so I know the seed is viable before planting but others toss em in a shot glass with water, and others just plant them. They all work good.
