I was recently given some Thai seeds and planted 4 of them , they are all female so I am (as the saying goes) as pleased as Punch.

well 6 out of 8 was good stuff . 2 were random....... could of been some old schwag seeds i had lying around. I don't know I mixed those two up with a bunch of others. But I can verify the other 6 were good quality.

I think they might of been fem seeds because out of that batch I have verified the 6th this morning as female.

Killed the male yesterday. Figure this next one will be male too.

But im still happy with my 6.

How far along are your 4 females ? any pics or log?

Nice when that happens.

Except for me. I started 18 seeds in hopes of getting around 9 females, well I got 15, only 3 were male. Needless to say I can't kill a female so I had to rethink almost everthing on how to deal with that one. Ended up growing out 12, made the other 3 mothers and will grow out the next time around.

I am beginning to find seeds from seed banks have a ratio of 2 to 1 (female, male) not the usual 50/50 that I am use to from bag seed.

I don't post pics since I lost my camera and I don't keep a log because I don't really have the time.

I'm about half way through flowering them and they are looking fine , they're a bit of a gamble because I am completely unfamiliar with the strain and I've had one or two little suprises.
The first couple of weeks they shot up like they had a race on with each other, I topped one to see how it reacted and it was fine so they are all done now. I was told by someone who said they had grown Thai that I shouldn't top them but I'm happy with the result.
I'm also using new nutes I got from a fellow stoner so I was concerned they may not be what I needed , but everything seems to be better than I could've expected.

I know how that is, when i woke up this morning to turn on my lights, I didn't check them because i normally water 3-4 hours later. But i decided to stare at the white hairs for awhile in joy.

I realized one of them grew like 2-3 inches last night......... hit the CFL AGAIN.

Luckily it didn't hit any those pretty white hairs, but some new leaf growth :\ Caught it about an hour after the lights.

Since i'm doing a rubbermaid, I'm keeping them low and raising them as I go so this way I can control the flower stretch a bit.
I'm now about one step left till I hit the roof and it's been about a 1 week 1/2 in flower.

The stems are pretty stiff, i LST'd them in veg but they took up so much room i had to cut them loose, I'm hoping one is actually male (the one that hasn't sexed yet).

Dyranty,

You just entered the stretch phase and they are going to triple in size. In a Rubbermaid grow I think you need to continue LST its entire growth phase. It is not uncommon for a plant to grow more than an inch a day for up to 4 weeks just after starting the flower cycle. After about the 4th week of flower they begin to crown out and growth slows to a stop at about week 5. These are not exact times but a good reference point.
