When I first moved into my rented house about 9 months ago these plants were all over the place. I finally realized why they seemed familiar to me. I checked it out at few different sites, and I believe they were opium poppies. They died their natural death after a while and I never experimented with them, but here are the pics I took at the time. Any feedback from anyone in the know is appreciated.

we,ve got fields full of them here in the uk.There in there 1000's.Anyway correct me if im wrong i thorght opium poppys were white.

The flowers can be just about any colour.

The opium poppy is papaver somniferum - it's also the ornamental poppy gardeners grow & the poppy grown for industrial use (poppy seed oil etc) - same beast, only becomes an opium poppy when you score the seed head I suppose. Comes in a variety of colours from white to pink to red to purple.
The poppies you get growing wild in hedgerows are more likely to be Papaver Rhoeus, the corn or field poppy, but that contains morphine & other opiates, so it could be considered an opium poppy too.

The dried milky juice of unripe seedpods of the opium poppy (Papavera somniferum). The chief constituents of opium are the alkaloids codeine, papaverine, noscapine, and morphine, from which heroin is synthesized

learn how to bleed them
and u can have opium to smoke
just for scraping it off at right time and being carefull
collect it and there ya go

if those ones yaw have so many of growing nearby are right kind
and i think it its possible it is,
some just have more opiates .
i think all have SOME just some have LOTS of ,ya get my piont i hope

please be carefull has side effects you must pay attention too
can be very addictive if ya have access to lots,


i sometimes roll up a lil ball about like a pill
and swallow it
few hours later i feel as if i ate a vicoden or loritab ,
i then smoke a bowl and sleep is so nice ,

i have two basket like deals in my yard full of lil poppy plants,
hopefully they sort them self out about how many can grow in there
strongest survive i reckon


i need go check the hill side plots i put out see if they have done ok

fuk the law i need my meds and this is cheep way to get them

i was at erowid and i think u can get high off more poppys than just opium poppys. scratch the bulbs and let the juice dry, scratch it off and smoke it, if u dont like it make a few bucks from desperite high seekers.

can be many colors
just the best are the persian whites
