Is Palin running for President? No, McCain is and HE DOES have the experience needed for THAT position. As for Obama, when the phone rings at 3:00A.M. is Biden going to answer it? I sure hope so with Obama's "so called" experience for his stint in the state legislature and his limited time in Senate.

Bill Clinton was saying at the convention that he to was accused of not having the experience just because he was only the Governor of Arkansas; now here we are only two days later with the Obama camp stating that being the Governor of Alaska doesn't have the experience to be a heart beat away? You just know that Bill and Hillary are laughing their asses off at Obama right now.

The Obama camp isn't saying that Palin doesn't have the experience to be president, but the fact that McCain chose her does make his best argument against Obama a lot less effective.

I can just imagine McCain being asked "Is Sarah Palin ready to be president?" and then followed up with "Is Obama?"

I'm not sure if you heard but, Palin isn't running for president. The VP spot historically has not required the same strenuous demand as president. Matter of fact for a short time in our history Several presidents ran and were elected to Office without a VP running mate.

So comparing a VP pick to a presidential candidate is a bit silly. If you want to do that then let's look at Biden. He has a WORLD of experience. In all honestly he's more qualified to be president than Obama is. Doesn't that look bad in itself when your VP is a better candidate than you are?

I agree with you but Dick made great strides to gain power for the office of the VP. So, there is a fair amount of power for Palin. also, I believe there is a more serious risk of McCain dying than in past presidential elections where I would look more seriously at the VP because they have a real chance of becoming the pres.

Hey P4B Bill was gov for 2 terms and in poltics longer than she was. She only been Gov for 2 years. If Mccain kicks the bucket in office are you willing to let someone with NOOOOOOOO Experiance at all run this country. Im not gonna bet my kids future on it. And if you think Hiilarys supporters are going to vote for McCain and Palin because she's a woman your wrong they where voting for clinton because she has the experiance to lead.

I'd rather take the chance on that then leave my children in the hands of a person with ties to racists and terrorists. Obama was a piss poor choice by the DNC.

As for the women voters, the same way that you saw the black vote go to Obama in the range of 90% + you'll see the same with this choice. When mothers start to shake her hand and find out a bit of her past they'll relate and then vote. Exactly why I think Obama will be elected as President. I think a lot more younger people are ready for a different type of president who will focus on our counrty first and not trying to control the world.

You can't come out of being a POV fine, McCain served our country but anyone held that long doesnt come out straight minded.
