Sarah Palin is McCain's VP pick
Oooooh no, do not group me in with religious bullshit. I am a firm atheist and I don't think religion should have ANYTHING to do with the government or schooling! I am for evolution 100%. I am for abortion and a womans rights and I think gay marriage is fine.

Palin, most likely, will not get the Hillary vote! The two could not be more different!
Women voting for Palin because she is female is like: Well, blacks voting for nObama because he is black!! Unfortunately, we saw this happening quite some time ago! To choose any candidate because of race or sex or because 'she is hot' , just sucks!! And shows the ignorance of the voter!
She is there to get the 'Bible State" votes. When compared to the others, she has all the 'Bush Values'!! More than any other Republican man! She is a walking talking example of one!
If we explore Alaska, what a mistake! We already need to replace the 'Alaskan Pipeline'! It is a daily repair job now! Getting enough oil from Alaska is harder than making peace in the world? Will not cure the problem. May put more Alaskans to work though. She is for getting Alaskan oil and doesn't believe in global warming. (been freezing in Alaska too long).
Bush had Montana, until he started drilling for oil there and taking farmers land! Or was anyone paying attention! That is how, Montana became a Democratic state! The best Bush supporter's (and richest MT rancher) revolted against their farmland becoming oil rig land. So they turned Democrat and campaigned as hard against Bush's second term as they did for him previously! And the price of oil, still soars!
When it comes right down to it: If we took the religion out of politics, we might stand a chance, as a country and nation of unity! PR :rastasmoke:

They aren't exactly "good buddies" but keep reaching. You are going to have to be doing even more of that than what you are used to!

But maybe you know something no one else in the world does about her.
Fact is, she sounds like she is more of a "conservative" than McCain. The more I find out about her the more I think I would rather vote for her over McCain.

Ok I can't bite my tongue anymore, I've gotta chime in. First off she is an excellent pick for the McCain campaign. She may only have served as Alaska's Governor for about a year and a half but when you actually compare time spent in office to positive accomplishments, everyone should be amazed. She ousted an incumbent, a leader in ethics reform, reduced the size of AK government, I could go on and on. I personally can't wait for the debates, I think it will be interesting to see America's reaction to Biden vs Palin.
Second, for those of you grouping republicans and libertarians with christianity, I think this is an utter misconception, religion has no place in government.
Third, I believe that McCain had the election locked before Palin, with her on the ticket now I will predict a landslide victory in November.:stoned:
At the end of the day it all comes down to who you want in office, Obama a junior senator who speaks of change and then selects Biden an extreme liberal who is part of the so called "broken Washington" that Obama wants to change, or McCain an experienced senator who has always put his beliefs and our country first regardless of criticism even from members of his own political party who selected Palin a washington outsider who can bring the right kind of change?:stoned:

Like I said, she actually sounds like a "REAL CONSERVATIVE" as opposed to a "REPUBLICAN LACKY". Many of Paul's ideas are actually "conservative ideals".

I think she needs to get some "hands on experience" with the 818KUSH, if ya know what I mean! And I know just the guy!

You know what, you are absolutely right, I can't fathom it. So why don't you spell it out for all of us. What harm specifically has come from this? What disasters has this caused? And why is it that most people in Alaska OVERWHELMINGLY SUPPORT IT despite the fact that it is "devastating the environment" apparently, even though the people that live their are probably more closely tied to that natural outdoor wilderness than any other people anywhere in the U.S.?

Bong please explain what is happening with the Gorillas?? I am scared, concerned. Did evolution skip a species? Are they done evolving? Or did God's magic hand stop them in the tracks of the evolutionary path? I guess we'll never know since we cannot find his fingerprints. :wtf:

Both tickets seem fairly equal to me! Equally dumb! With good intentions!
Bill Clinton was Gov. of Ark and not re-elected. He then re-ran with a different platform for and of the people and won, over and over!!
Bush was Gov. of Tx then Pres.: Lost his butt in oil and didn't do very well in baseball or anything else he did. Well, until he got sober, I guess!
Reagan; Gov. of Ca a couple times and then Pres.
Makes them good politicians, that is all!
