You must admire a woman that gets pregnant after the age of 30! The risk of Down's Syndrome is checked due to that being a major possibility! At 40, almost a certainty--That again, is why they check, so you can abort prior to development of fetus--For abortion. If you have been with a family strapped with a Down's Syndrome baby, it is a very difficult thing! Good thing she is in politics, so taxpayers can take care of it in her home, instead of the home for them. It is taxing to a family to take care of and practically a full time job to a loving and present mother! That kid needs more and almost all of her time!

Anti-abortion: This is 2008, we can tell when an abortion is needed and when not. Would you keep a D.S. baby. Maybe, until it got so big you couldn't change the diapers anymore. I do like that she dismissed the staff for the home quarters of her family and made them clean up after themselves and cook and all the things they normally do, regardless of Gov. Mansion or not! That is a good step in the right direction! If she drives her own vehcile, I'd like that also! By not allowing staff to cater to them in the family home (Gov.mansion): is there something to hide! Or real common sense?

I do admire that she has traveled more than Obama to support troops and Gov't business! First hand knowledge. Obama was too busy going to Africa. A good excuse to see family on taxpayers buck!

The Obama camp isn't saying that Palin doesn't have the experience to be president, but the fact that McCain chose her does make his best argument against Obama a lot less effective.
