""""I would also like to know what specifically in his speech is going to have any significant impact on America say 45 years from now. The answer, nothing.
I would like to know whom he defines as "middle class", it's also worth pointing out, the top 3% of income earners in the U.S., pay 97% of all the income taxes. So apparently they aren't paying their fair share huh? OK.
I think as far as Obama's safety is concerned, you should worry about the racists in the Dixiecrat, oh I mean Democrat party.
I wonder what libs will do when Bush is gone and completely out of the picture. How will they respond to the tough questions when they can't invoke what they percieve as the "evils of Bush" in any debate no matter the topic.
Oh, there I go again assuming the people that do this now would even comprehend that doing so is completely out of a position of weakness, of course they will just keep doing it! Silly me!""""""
I agree with the last sentence in this above post.
First of all, it was a speech, its what comes after the speech that will have an impact on the US in 45 years. Until he is elected he cannot create more jobs in the United States, sending more children to college..etc etc. So not really sure what you are saying.?
Since numbers are being used to draw conclusions, we would need more info to make a reasonable conclusion. Like what percentage of total income earned in the United States are these 3% earning? That may give an idea as to why they are carrying the majority of the burden.
As far as wondering about perceived evils of Bush...that is not an original method of avoiding the facts i laid out. Commonly seen avoidance technique. They teach that one on the Fox News Channel.:thumbsup:allrollsin21 Reviewed by allrollsin21 on . Yes liberals and dems, blame Bush! Still! He's a lame duck president but make sure everyone focuses on how "stupid" he is (b/c apparently graduating at Yale isn't enough or I guess mispronouncing words makes you an idiot).
It's funny how they live in the past instead on focusing on the current issues.
And how about this DNC shit? The Dems bitch and moan about how poor people are and how bad people have it yet are okay with blowing millions on a convention where nearly no issues are brought up, only celebrities and singers and empty slogans.

Also, did you know that 87% of statistics are made up on the spot? Anyway, the top 5% pays about 58% of the income tax, so you're not even close. Keep in mind, I got this from a very conservative source:

Ouch! Don't know where I got that? But you are spot on thank you for correcting me. In my mind I was visualizing a pie chart I had seen, must have not remembered it correctly.

So the question remains, are you telling me that these people are not paying their fair share, and that they need to pay more? Really?
Proportionally the top 10% of income earners pay WAY FUCKING MORE THAN THEIR FAIR SHARE. That was my original point. And Obama is going to make them PAY MORE! Really!
So the top 5% earns roughly 1/3 of all income, and pay over 1/2 of all income taxes and that's not enough? While the bottom 50% earns roughly 15% of all income and pay about 3% of all income taxes? Whose not paying their fair share here?
Again thanks for bringing my error to attention so I have the chance to go back and get more detailed info!

you realize the bottom fifty% are the ones you hear of in foreclosures and struggling to pay off loans with their children's very small college funds. Do you think Taxes should be increased for these people? Or should everything stay the same regarding taxes?
Reb i agree that the flagrant waste of money at this DNC is a disgrace. As will be the same at the RNC.
For you to assume someones intelligence because they attend Yale is nonsense. He is a BUSH and could go to whatever school his daddy chose.
True story my Uncle attended Yale and graduated the same year as Bush. My uncle who is a Republican, has told me many times that he strongly disliked George W Bush because he was a well known bully on campus. Spoke down to fellow students of less means, and actually would "rough up" other students with the help of his nearly hired goons. Some things never change

So let me get this straight.

Is that what you are saying?
You realize that when you hear of foreclosures "up 100%" what you don't hear is that they are up from 3%, TO 6%.
NO TAXES SHOULD NOT BE INCREASED FOR ANYONE! PERIOD.
My point was simply that libs like to talk about what is "FAIR" in regards to taxes. I was merely pointing out that the very top income earners pay WAY FUCKING MORE THAN THEIR FAIR SHARE ALREADY AND THAT THEY ARE THE LAST PEOPLE THAT NEED TO PAY MORE AS YOUR LEADER/GOD ADVOCATES IN THE INTRESTS OF "FAIRNESS".
The problem he has is that he wants to tax more, spend more, and then tax more. The liberal left has already demonized anyone that actually makes alot of money, so of course they can justify to the drooling masses that it's ok to take even more money from them.
If anything the top 10% need to have their rates lowered.
It has already been proven that this would in fact INCREASE tax revenue. I know, I know, "but how, no you are wrong, blah blah blah," however that is already a matter of fact and has in fact already happened. If you really want to understand how that works then by all means, educate yourself.

"So let me get this straight.
The bottom 50% of all income earners, are ALL IN FORECLOSURE?" Kush quotes me as saying.
This is what is referred to as a misquote.
Not worth my effort.
