when do i change the light cycle? please help

Hi, this is my first time growing. I have a bubba kush clone, in my closet, that is about 2 weeks old. It is around 8 inches tall. I have it on 18 hours light and 6 hours dark. When do i change it to 12 on and 12 off? Here is a picture of the clone as well. Thanks for the help.

When it's a third to a half of the height you want your final plant to be.

That all depends on how big you want it? how tall is your closet what light have you got it under? by the looks of it you need another two weeks or so before you start 12/12, theres no set time on how long you can veg but i wouldnt start flowering yet cause you aint gonna get much if you do.

Wait until the nodes switch from opposite to alternating for best results- that indicates sexual maturity. I can't quite tell, but your plant looks like it's about ready.
After you see the nodes go alternating, the next question is, how large do you want your plant to finish? As an earlier poster mentioned, it will double or triple in size between the start of flower and harvest, so plan for not only height but also pot size.
