I would jar them if you want to add fruit aromas or moisture back due to over drying. I think vacuum sealing will keep the aroma from reaching the buds unless some air is left in the bag. I also wouldn't leave the peel in the jar for more than a couple weeks and be sure to keep an eye on them for mold. I also wouldn't vacuum seal them until after you're finished curing them.

Personally, I think if you want orange flavored buds you need to get the seeds for orange flavored buds. Just appreciate the flavors and aromas of what you have instead of trying to change it. You may end up with moldy or bitter buds because you were trying to improve them.

IMHO the best thing you can do is a proper dry and cure. One to two weeks drying and a month cure, minimum. I know this seems like a long time but it's well worth the effort. It will improve the flavor and the high. I've had buds that smelled like nothing but skunk when dried but after a good cure had a great sweet berry flavor with a skunk undertone. The high can go from one hour to four hours with some cured buds as well. I've had Haze hybrid buds that didn't taste like anything but green and barely got you high. After a six month cure they became tropical fruit sour flavored and damn the high almost killed me! :stoned:

Hope this helps.

Blessed be~
