I have determined 1 of my plants to be a male.
I want to get some of the pollen and vial it.
How do i do this?
Im going to use it to pollenate a females lower branch for seeds.
Can you offer any advice?

i remember briefly seeing something about cutting a male branch off that is full of pollen sacs to get the pollen from it. after cutting the branch, you than put the cut branch into a cup with water, and placing the cup on top of a paper plate or something that will catch the pollen when it falls. you than wait for the sacs to open and the pollen to fall onto the plate. im sure you would have to change the water every day to keep algae from growing.

wait for another person to either back me up, or shoot me down, because i am not 100% sure on this.

Well how many female plants do you want to fertilize? Less than 5, 1 male "flower" will do. Less than 10, 2 will do. Find the male flowers when they first open, get a jar put the flower inside the lip of the jar, thump the male flower. Then cut it off and use a small brush, like from a child's water color set. Use the paintbrush to "paint / dust" the female flowers(white hairs).

Use alcohol(70% or better) to clean your brush before and after pollination.

The number of male flowers to female plants is a rough guess. I used two male flowers to pollinate 1 or 2 branches on my 7 female plants.

Search around for breeding / pollinating cannabis.

Everything that everyone said, but you can cut them and put them in water and put them in 12/12 to get pollen sacks to open

Ok one of the ball things opened up . I assume that is a pollen sack.
inside it where like six things hanging. is this the pollen?
