A few questions..

I am going to start my own grow soon and I am wondering, if I use the LST method would I have a better chance growing in a 3 feet wide x 2 feet deep.. 4 feet tall, or 7 feet wide, 2 feet deep, 3 feet wide?

Notice one is sideways and one is upright, a little more space sideways however it is COMPLETELY sideways.. Let me know.

Also, when installing lights I have at least 300 watts of CFC's and am installing them all around the grow set up so the plant gets light from all angles, is this the correct way to do it?

My last question is a carbon filter, if i install one of these on my exhaust will the smell still be obvious?

Always try to grow in the tallest space available, but beyond that, if you are creative enough with your lighting style you can grow on any shape footprint!
Focus on giving your plants lots of overhead lighting, and then as they grow, be on the lookout for dark, dim corners that could use supplemental lighting.
And of course remember to save yourself room for the serious stretch that happens during flower.
I'd start at least 4 seedlings becaus eyou don't want to get to flower and discover you have no females, and that way, you can pick the healthiest one to finish.
