UVB Supplement

After doing countless hours of research I have decided to add two 5 UVB bulbs in addition to the existing 400 watt MH to my Purple Kush grow. There is enough evidence out there to suggest that genotypes from high altitude regions especially benefit from this as cannabiss will generate more resin as a type of sunblock yielding more trichs in quantity and quality per square mm of product. My question is has anyone tried this? How about indica vs. sativa? Last question is 1 hour on for every 12 mh is on,continous, or what?

I've also thought along the same line sog... but I'm always stopped with:
How does one mount it in the box?

Hell another bulb isn't going to cost me anything more than I pay now,
I'd try it but I don't know how to mount it so it's not in my way or create a shadow soooner or later..
or it only shines on 1 side of 1 plant (it has to be close).

I've read that to mimic nature it should be on from 10>3ish.. others say 12 on, 12 off... I don't think I've read of anyone actually trying it though.

I'm in.. I want to know too.

But to get back on the point.. UVB...

Here is a pic of this gorw yesterday (I think) > a week to go...
If UVB adds potency and this weed gets stronger, I'll be trippin'.

Next grow, hang unreflected (less shadow) UVB CFL from hook (<seems simple enough:hippy:
Then again.. I smoke pot :stoned:and sometimes can't immediatly get my head around new concepts...

I'll check back in shortly
